About me

In addition earning her terminal degree at Oklahoma State University in Human Factors & Aviation Education, Sherry is a dual-degree graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  

Sherry began her career as the Director of Contract Security at Tulsa International Airport and  advanced in contract administration at NMP Corp. managing almost $1 Billion in US Navy & foreign government subcontracts before returning to her first love—flying. In 1998, she landed her dream career at Continental Airlines.

A staunch pilot advocate, Sherry served on the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) Security Committee after 9/11 helping co-workers entangled in the TSA’s “no-fly list.” As Membership Chair, she established the revered Honor Guard program. Fellow pilots quickly recognized her leadership skills electing her First Officer Representative for one of ALPA’s largest pilot bases. 

Today, Sherry continues her pursuit of the truth as a researcher, safety expert, and author writing editorials for various publications such as Breitbart. In addition, she provides expert commentary on industry issues across all media platforms. Dr. Walker also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University’s Aviation Program.  

Sherry & husband Brett, also a Captain, reside in Huntsville, TX, with their son, Henry, who is majoring in Political Science & Pre-Law.  

As the co-founder of Airline Employees 4 Health Freedom and through her union advocacy, Sherry continues to fight all forms of discrimination across the airline industry including medical discrimination (ADA), age discrimination (AEDA), and religious discrimination (Title VII). Captain Walker is also a motivational speaker and expert witness. She describes herself as a Christian advocate who stands for people of all faiths.
